Master of Computer Application or MCA is a postgraduate degree programme in computer science. The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at Usha Martin University offers this highly industry-relevant degree to provide students with all of the necessary skills to succeed in the software industry. This two-year professional program is the ultimate combination of theoretical and practical knowledge that provides a detailed understanding of the various aspects of computer applications. The MCA program at UMU is specifically developed to address the demand for qualified IT professionals. This excellent curriculum focuses on the latest programming languages and tools for creating better and faster applications.

The MCA course detailed curriculum incorporates four contents; software development or designing, concepts in core computers and systems science, Mathematics behind Computer Science, and non-core computer courses. The course has been divided into four semesters, each of which lasts six months. It aims to provide the most up-to-date industry-oriented computer science education. This curriculum prepares students to design application software for a variety of industries to solve specific challenges for customers.
