- They will be able to demonstrate, identify and understand the key concepts in Indian substantive law
- They will be able to apply the key concepts of substantive law to the given set of facts, skills of legal analysis, reasoning and problem solving
- They will develop sharp acumen to legal research, data analysis, research methods, and legal writing
- They will be able to demonstrate professional judgment, ethics, and professionalism through conduct consistent with the professional values, standards, and discipline
- They will acquire knowledge and exposure to the career options and employment avenues available to a legal professional.
- Students will evaluate case opinion from multiple perspectives: e.g., use of precedent, reasoning and rhetoric; reliance of historic, economic or political sources and cultural or social values; special attention in prospective impact.
- Students will develop a sound academic base, understand the basic theories and practice of legislative enactment and interpretation
- Students will be able to understand the relationship between cases and statutes, and proper and appropriate use of solutions to legal problem
- Students will be able to predict the probable judicial resolution of simulated legal disputes.
- Students will be able to recognize legal issues in simulated scenarios
- Students will be able to identify and evaluate analogies and distinctions between facts in the sources of the rules and in scenario facts
