UMU offers flexible, choice based programmes in semester mode. At UMU, we are striving hard to adapt to changes in the dynamic and exciting educational landscape. We are developing a vibrant university-industry interface so as to minimize out-flow of human capital from the state and conserve financial resources of the society through innovative programmes. New programmes such as Post Graduate Diploma Programmes in Supply Chain Management, Data Science and Internet of Things are being put on offer in 2020 session. These would offer maximum chances of employment and entrepreneurship. By so doing, the University hopes to create individuals of high calibre endowed with entrepreneurial skills and who would contribute with sense of service.
Our 2017-19 cohort of MBA students achieved 100% placement. We hope to repeat this achievement this year as well. We provide our learners opportunities to interact with the best minds and employer groups through fortnightly seminars on latest issues. We believe that they can compete with the best, understand the dynamics of job market within the framework of sound ethics in corporate governance. To achieve this,
we emphasize on our faculty to transact knowledge through outcome based and case studies based pedagogy.
I am happy that the University is now operating from its permanent campus at Angara, Ranchi.
