These programmes will be conducted strictly in accordance with the provisions and regulations given in the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degrees Regulation, 2016) and Ph.D. Degree Regulations of Usha Martin University. The University has developed a culture of knowledge creation and innovation through active research, both theoretical and experimental.

Programme Eligibility / Pre-requisite:
- Masters Degree from a Recognized University or Equivalent Institution in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/ Differently-Abled and such other categories, relaxation as per the decision of the UGC & Govt. of India will be accorded.
- Candidates who have already passed UGC (JRF) Examinations/ NET/ SET/ SLET or have M. Phil degree can directly appear for interview.
