About the Library & Information Science (BLIS) Programme
The one-year undergraduate Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.L.I.S.) program is intended to give students the fundamental knowledge and abilities needed in the library and information science field. In order to prepare students for a dynamic career in the fields of libraries, information centers, and knowledge management, the program focuses on contemporary library management, information organization, digital archiving, and research methodologies.
In light of the growing need for certified librarians and information specialists, this course gives students hands-on experience with database administration, library automation, and information retrieval methods. Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks for General and 45% for the SC/ST/OBC/PH category respectively
