Our Infrastructure
Usha Martin University is located in the lap of nature. In fact, it presents a judicious mix of ancient values and modern teaching learning ecosystem. UMU has created classrooms well equipped with multi media systems, modern teaching aids, WI-FI and very comfortable seating arrangements. Facilities for interaction by students with the faculty and fellow students beyond the classroom and the campus have been created through a robust Learning Management System. Such an environment is extremely enriching for participative earning and learner engagement.
The Library has a rich collection of text as well as reference books, journals, periodicals, magazines, etc. to cater to complete needs of students, research scholars as well as teachers. The University has created a rich collection of e-resources comprising both eBooks and online journals.
In keeping with the requirements of its computer programmes and other professional programmes, the University has created a State-of-the-Art Computer, Agriculture, Media, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy laboratories. To support the Diploma and B tech programmes in engineering, well designed workshops in all disciplines and laboratories for basic sciences have been developed. The University has also established a Learning Management System based on the Moodle 3.0 for managing continuous learner support and to facilitate digital teaching-learning practices.
All lecture theatres are equipped with multimedia facilities and wi-fi access. The entire campus has internet connectivity with reasonable bandwidth.
The University has arranged transport service for students as well as staff to commute comfortably from various points of the city.
This service is available over 35 km radius around the city at a subsidized fee for the students. All buses are well equipped with safety measures.
The Cafeteria has been designed to create clean and hygienic environment and to serve quality food at affordable prices.
The UMU provides congenial environment for character building, personality development and growth for harmony and tolerance towards all life forms. Apart from indoor games and extracurricular activities, the University provides a wide range of facilities for outdoor sports like, Volleyball, Badminton, etc.
