Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing & Medical lab technology are among the fastest growing disciplines of Healthcare sciences thatcan provide bright and satisfying careers.Depending on their choice of program, students will have to work withhealth care specialists and medicine manufacturers in order to cater to the needs of the society. The pharmacist bridges the gap between medicine manufacturer and patients while performing their job efficiently, while the Paramedics and medical lab technologists form a vital link in the delivery chain of health services. Nurses are in front linerole and they bridge the gap between behavioral health care and physical health care for providers looking to betterintegrate the two. The University began to offer BPT in 2019 and BMLT, B. Pharm. and D. Pharm. in 2020 and B.Sc. Nursing in 2021. The vision of the programs is to create high levels of competency in Pharmacists, Physiotherapistsand Para Medical professionals to respond effectively and provide best available services to meet the needs of thoserequiring health care.
The department offers Physiotherapy & Paramedical Sciences 4 ½ year undergraduate degree programme inPhysiotherapy, entitled as Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) on regular basis. It also started offering 3 ½ year UG degreecourse in Bachelor in Medical lab technologies (BMLT) in 2020.
The University aims to develop high levels of academic and clinical competence and to produce professionallycompetent physiotherapists and paramedics who can respond effectively to the changing environment.
BSc. Nursing is dedicated to the mission of promoting quality healthcare education and transforming young studentsinto professionals who can contribute to the rapidly growing health care sector in India.
We subscribe to the land-grant philosophy and its three-pronged mission outreach that bridges the areas of teachingand extension, research and service.
The Department also began to offer programs in B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology and Bachelor in Radiology & Medical Imaging technology are also being offered as highlyjob oriented programs.
Bachelor in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (BMRIT) is a 4 year undergraduate program. On successful completion of the program the student can work as a Radiology technician in various diagnostic centres and multispeciality hospitals. Students can also go for higher studies by pursuing Masters in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology.
We understand that learning is most effective when individual learner’s needs are considered and active learnerparticipation is facilitated. Hence, we work towards creating a conducive environment which encourages these traits. It’s hope that the programmes offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences will bring several jobs for our graduates.

The vision of the programmes are to create high levels of competency in Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Paramedical professionals to respond effectively and provide best available services to meet the needs of those requiring health care.
- The department of Physiotherapy offers 4.5 year undergraduate degree program entitled as Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) on regular basis.
- The department of Paramedical also started offering 3 year UG degree course in BMLT (Lateral Entry) and 4 Years UG degree Program in Bachelor of Medical Lab Technology B.SC MLT, 4 years UG degree course in B.Sc. Radiology Technology (BMRIT) and 3 Years UG Degree in B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology(BOTT).
- The department of Pharmacy offers 4 year undergraduate degree program entitled as Bachelor in Pharmacy and for 2 year Diploma course entitled as Diploma in Pharmacy.
- The department of Nursing offers 4 years undergraduate degree program entitled as BSc. Nursing and for 3 year Diploma course entitled as General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM).
