Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing and Paramedical are among the fastest growing disciplines that can provide bright and satisfying careers. Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that is primarily concerned with remediation of impairments and disabilities and the promotion of mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention.

The pharmacist bridges the gap between physician, medicine manufacturer and patients, while performing their job efficiently, while the Paramedics technologists form a vital link in thedelivery chain of health services. Nurses are in front line role and they bridge the gap between behavior health careand physical health care for providers looking to better integrate the two.

The University began to offer BPT in 2019 and BMLT in 2020, B. Pharm 4 years course and D. Pharm 2 years course in 2020, B.Sc. Nursing in 2021 and B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology, B.Sc. Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology are alsobeing offered from 2023.

The vision of the programmes are to create high levels of competency in Pharmacists,Physiotherapists and Para Medical professionals to respond effectively and provide best available services to meet the needs of those requiring health care.

The department of Physiotherapy offers 4.5  year undergraduate degree program entitled as Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) on regular basis. The department also started offering 3.5 year UG degree course in BSc. in Medical lab technologies (BMLT), 4 years UG degree course in B.Sc. Radiology Technology (BMRIT) and 3 Years UG Degree in B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology(BOTT).

The department of Pharmacy offers 4 year undergraduate degree program entitled as Bachelor in Pharmacy and for 2 year Diploma course entitled as Diploma in Pharmacy.

The department of Nursing offers 4 years undergraduate degree program entitled as BSc. Nursing and for 3 year Diploma course entitled as General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM).

The University aims to develop high levels of academic and clinical competence and to produce professionally competent physiotherapists and paramedics who can respond effectively to the changing environment.

B.Sc. Nursing is dedicated to the mission of promoting quality healthcare education and transforming young students into professionals who can contribute to the rapidly growing health care sector in India.

What Is Pharmacy and Paramedical Science?

Pharmacy is the branch of health science which deals with preparing, compounding, preserving, and dispensing medicines or medical drugs. Pharmacy is one of the most accessible and trusted health care professions.  Pharmacists, also known as druggists or chemists are the medication experts with excellent knowledge of drugs, side effects, and their mechanism of action, interactions, mobility, and toxicity. Pharmacy courses aims to teach students about the proper use of medications, as well as how to manage them in terms of dosage and patient guidance.

Whereas, Paramedical Science covers the diagnostic primary care, device diagnosis, treatment, and elimination of health conditions or diseases are all covered by paramedical science.   • As it is Teamwork, paramedics should have a sense of duty and commitment, as well as excellent communication skills, analytical and logical thinking skills, the ability to remember and memorize scientific information, maturity, a calm disposition, people understanding, and the ability to instill faith in the patient.
  • Mental toughness is a necessary skill of paramedics. He/she should be physically and mentally fit and perfect in order to take precautionary measures in the possibility of any accident.
  • He/she should have ability to navigate challenging situations. Paramedics must be ready to work late at night and on weekends as well.
  • As a profession, paramedic work is challenging and unpredictable in general, and it necessitates physical endurance, mental maturity, compassion, good judgment, and the ability to respond rapidly under pressure.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Zoology/Botany.
  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission.
  • He/she must have taken English as a main subject in their qualifying examination.
