The Department of Applied Sciences at Usha Martin University aims to give students excellent instruction in fundamental science courses. The faculties are committed to giving each student individualized attention in order to foster their analytical and critical thinking skills, which will lay a solid foundation for their future employment. The department offers students state-of-the-art laboratory facilities as part of their course work. Simultaneously, the department hopes to make a name for itself in the field of applied sciences by producing highly influential and world-class research in frontier multidisciplinary fields. For students enrolled in several engineering, computer application, management, and agriculture programs, a number of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics elective courses are also available. Mathematics and Computing  4 Years Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized board with Mathematics/ Mathematics and Statistics as compulsory subject with minimum 55% aggregate marks in any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts with Mathematics/ Mathematics and Statistics).
