Usha Martin University Hosts Its Historic First Convocation Ceremony

Usha Martin University, a top university in Ranchi, held its first convocation on May 4, 2023, at the campus. The event was graced by the Honorable Governor of Jharkhand, Mr. C.P. Radhakrishnan, as Chief Guest, alongside eminent dignitaries like Mr. Hemant Goyal (Chairman), Prabhat Kumar (Chancellor), Prof. Madhulika Kaushik (Vice-Chancellor), and Padma Shri Prof. Anand Kumar of “Super 30,” who received the prestigious D.Litt. Degrees were conferred upon 577 students, with 18 gold medalists recognized for academic excellence.

The Governor urged graduates to become employment creators and praised UMU’s dedication to academic excellence. Prof. Anand Kumar emphasized the transformative power of education, and the Vice-Chancellor highlighted UMU’s achievements in research, industry collaboration, and student development.
