Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Development

We are living in an era which belongs to innovators who become independent and self-reliant in due course. And entrepreneurial skills serve as an excellent tool to this end. Even the Federal/Provincial governments, through Atam Nirbhar Bharat initiative, are encouraging our youth to start their own business for the betterment of society, economy and the nation state. Usha Martin University has joined this initiative with a view to develop competent entrepreneurs through the offer of an online Diploma programme in Entrepreneurship and Business Development.

By enrolling in this online programme, learners from different socio-economic backgrounds will acquire knowledge and skills necessary to be a successful entrepreneur. Some well-known entrepreneurs include Mark Zuckerberg founder of Facebook, Bill Gates founder of Microsoft, Jack Ma founder of Alibaba, Jeff Bezos founder of Amazon, Sam Walton founder of Wal-Mart, Sal of Khan Academy, Byju Raveendran, founder of Byju educational group. etc.

The learners of this programme shall be able to choose a business of their interest, identify the source of finance & arrange the same, make business plan and execute it successfully through the knowledge gained in Management principles, Entrepreneurship Development, Business Ethics, Financial Management and such other areas to build entrepreneurial skills. This is a one year programme spread over two semesters.

Candidates having 10 + 2 or its equivalent certificate from any recognized board or fascinated to equip business skills to start their own business can apply for this Programme. This programme shall be delivered through online mode by Usha Martin University, Ranchi, which is the only university in Bihar and Jharkhand to be conferred with E-lead certificate by QS I Gauge for its digital competence.
