Who can apply for an ANM course?

The candidate who have successfully completed 10+2 from a recognized board can apply for ANM course. She/he have passed 10+2 in arts or science stream ((Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, and Philosophy) as well as English Core or Elective subjects. The applicant must be 17 years old on or before December 31st of the year in which admission is obtained and the maximum age should not be more than 35 years.

Admission to the ANM program is based on merit basis or through an entrance examination. There are two types of entrances exams in India: college-based CETs and state-based entrance exams. The states conduct ANM Entrance Exams, which are administered by different state governing bodies. Few states are still taking merit-based admissions.
