In order to be qualified to take the M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) admission at UMU, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• They should have a B.Pharm degree from a recognized university or institution as approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
• They should have a minimum aggregate of 55% marks (relaxation for reserved categories as per norms).

The M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) course is extended over 2 years, comprising four semesters. The last semester is reserved for an extensive research project and submitting the thesis.
