UMU follows a standardized process of admission for PhDs in law. It accepts both online and offline applications for admission. The admission process includes the submission of the application form, the submission of documents, the payment of the application fee, the conduction of the entrance exam, the personal interview, the selection of applicants, the payment of the fee, and the completion of admission.
Applicants can complete the application process both online and offline. For online applications, the entire process needs to be carried out through the official website of UMU, and for offline applications, the hard copy of the application form, documents, and DD of the application fee needs to be sent to the admission office through registered post or courier. The cost of the application fee is Rs 1500.
Once the application process is over, the applicants have to appear for an entrance exam. The entrance exam will serve as a basis for stage 1 selection, and those who will clear the exam will be further evaluated through a personal interview round. The final selection will be based on the cumulative score of the entrance exam and personal interview. The applicants who clear both rounds will receive an offer of admission. Upon receiving the admission offer, the applicants must proceed with the admission process.
