UMU Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Patriotism and Spirit of Nation Building

Ranchi, Jharkhand:  Usha Martin University celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with patriotic enthusiasm through a National Service Scheme (NSS), honouring the courage and sacrifice of nations’ freedom fighters. The Jharkhand based University also commemorated the occassion of 150 years of our national song  ”Vande Matram”  encouraging youth participation and community service through rally from university campus to SSB ( Samastra Seema bal Camp.

At Usha Martin University, The campaign National Service Scheme (NSS)  promotes the Healthy Youth, Healthy India through strong vision that witnesses the active participation of youth to engage with self-reliant, digitally empowered through changing technology. The university encourages students to participate in Har Ghar Tiranga Program under initiative of “Your Selfie, Your Tiranga, Your Tribute” for contemporary way of expressing patriotism.

Celebrating the Spirit of National Pride: 150 years of Vande Matram

University celebrates the spirit of our national song Vande Mataram commemorate the completion of 150 years of the National song promoting patriotism, encouraging unity. The campaign is promoting to state National Service Scheme (NSS) to allow young citizens to participate our national pride where more than 240  campus students participated in rally from university campus to SSB ( Sashtra seema BAL ) camp.  We encourage students for community participation  in the collective recitation of Vande Mataram  and to commitment to be responsible citizenship

Healthy Youth, Healthy India

The theme “ Healthy Youth , Healthy India” under the National Service Scheme delivered a strong message to empower youth in nation building.  The prime motive of NSS initiative is to inspire students to repurpose their objectives along with academic and career objectives, through education, innovation, service and social responsibility and  with a transformative role in shaping the country’s future.   A healthy, educated, skilled and responsible youth is a strong foundation for our Vikasit Bharat ( Developed Nation) 2047. Generating awareness about preventive healthcare measures, active lifestyle , mental and emotional well being to build responsible communities.

From Freedom to Nation Building

The university initiative is to encourage students to celebrate independence day with nationwide engagement to celebrate the 80 years of freedom by reciting the National song ( Vande Mataram) and to  pay tribute to our freedom fighters. With the continuing journey of nation building, 240+ students joined the spirit of patriotism making students aware of nationwide schemes, initiatives to inspire students to transform their knowledge and skills for meaningful contributions to society.

From Jharkhand to India — Unity in Diversity

Our State, Jharkhand is known for its rich heritage, natural resources and tribal communities. That defines the value of community, diversity, self-reliance as integral part to build the nation. Every landscape from the hills, plains, deserts and coastlines of India that shares the collective identity for nation building through community vision of Vikasit Bharat sharing the common vision of nation development.

 Har Ghar Tiranga: Your Selfie, Your Tiranga, Your Tribute

At the SSB camp, students were cordially welcomed by the officers and army personnel of the 26 Bn SSB, where they were learnt about the significance of our tricolour flag and government initiative of “ HAR GHAR TIRANGA”   is organized to build the connection with the nation  by taking selfies with the national flag and uploading to submit and download the participation certificate for sharing their patriotic spirit. This initiative is a reminder of pride, responsibility and hope to celebrate the 80 years of freedom and privilege.

To participate in the program, students should take a selfie with national flag ( Tiranga)  and upload their participation and download the participation certificate with modern way of expressing the patriotism.

We Pledge  through government initiatives and meaningful campaigns to inspire students participation, strengthen collaboration and keep encouraging them for nation building journeys.
